  • Manually publish posts

Connect your X (formerly Twitter) account to share your content and track engagement metrics.

Prerequisites

  • An X account in good standing
  • Account email verified
  • Two-factor authentication recommended

Account Requirements

  • Standard X accounts supported
  • Account must not be restricted
  • Active email verification
  • You can connect multiple X accounts based on your subscription plan

Connecting Your Account

  1. Go to BeeHype Integrations
  2. In the X section, click “Connect”
  3. Log in to X if prompted
  4. Grant required permissions:
    • Read tweet access
    • Basic posting access
    • User profile information

Due to X’s new API pricing policy, some features are temporarily limited:

Required Permissions

BeeHype needs these permissions to:
  • Tweet Reading
    • Access your tweets
    • View engagement metrics
    • Monitor performance
  • Tweet Writing
    • Post new content
    • Schedule tweets
    • Manage media uploads
  • Profile Access
    • Read account info
    • View followers/following
    • Access analytics
  • Offline Access
    • Schedule future posts

Content Guidelines

X has specific requirements for posts:
  1. Text Posts
    • Maximum length: 280 characters
    • Supports mentions and hashtags
    • URLs count as 23 characters
  2. Images
    • Up to 4 images per tweet
    • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF
    • Maximum file size: 5MB per image
  3. Videos
    • Maximum length: 2 minutes 20 seconds
    • Maximum file size: 512MB
    • Supported formats: MP4

Managing Your Connection

Disconnecting Account

  1. Visit the Integrations page
  2. Click “Remove” next to X
  3. Confirm disconnection
Disconnecting will cancel all scheduled posts and stop analytics tracking. You can reconnect at any time.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues:
  1. Connection Issues
    • Verify your email is confirmed on X
    • Make sure your account is in good standing
    • Try disconnecting and reconnecting your account
  2. Posts Not Publishing
    • Check if your content follows X guidelines
    • Ensure your account is active
    • Try disconnecting and reconnecting your account
  3. Analytics Not Showing
    • Give it some time, data can take a while to appear
    • Check if your account is still connected
    • Try refreshing your connection by disconnecting and reconnecting
